It has been a month since I blogged.

Nothing much special except the mountains of assignments I had to clear before the sem ended last week. And because I have been so drained by these, I thought I deserved two days break before starting to study for my finals. But I self-extended the break and I STILL have not move an inch to revise anything yet. Reading through the notes doesnt count right. I really have to turn on my mugging mode already. Okay. Tomorrow shall be it. Should call Miji out so that I will have the motivation.

Anyway, when I have saved enough money, I am going to buy a new laptop for myself. I am hating my laptop now. Giving me quite a lot of problems LOR!!! When I log on to FB and look at pictures, somehow, it will stop working and hang on the page. And then also, for no reason, the laptop will shut down by itself. Luckily Microsoft have the recovery mode thingy. Or else, I will cry everytime it shuts down because my work were not saved. I really have no luck with laptops. The previous one I got was sucky too. Anyone, recommend me a good brand, please?

I am officially doing summer school in Curtin Singapore. Made payments and it will start once I get back to Singapore. At least, I have something to do besides the flexi jobs I will be taking under my boss when I go back for my Summer holidays. But I am going to miss the orientation. Aiya, who cares! I can make friends when I get into the class.

This sem sure past very fast for no reason. Counting down to the days to go back to Singapore. Heehee....

Just now, i was walking home at 9 plus, alone. And then, this guy from the car, threw something big and hard (something like thrice the size of a kiwi, and as hard as a rock) and hit my back PURPOSELY with a full force! And then drove off. Walao! I was attacked physically! Now, my back is damn 酸 and red. Oh gosh. I think I will have blue black on my back tomorrow. Never mind if you attack me verbally, but PHYSICALLY!! And then few minutes later, the security car drove past. Oh how I wish the security came earlier!

ARGH!!!!

Perth Royal Show 2009

  • Sep. 26th, 2009 at 9:42 PM

Expected a lot from this annual event in Perth. Got so eggcited about it when I looked through the website. In the end, it was good, but not as good as what I thought it will be. Walked the whole day and my legs are damn tired now. But I managed to see a lot of cute kids enjoying themselves. But was sad because I didnt manage to get huge toys like others. Next time, if there is next time, I must go with a BUNCH of friends so that the chances of getting the prize is higher. Shuduan and I just have no luck! And we spent so much money lor! Must become vegetarian for the next week.

This afternoon, I went to Borders to look for a book. I went up to the counter and the coversation with the ang moh cashier went like this.

Me: Excuse me, Do you have the book titled "The Last Eunuch of China"?

Him: Hang on. *wait* Are you sure you get the right title? Because it seemed that there isnt any in the database.

Me: Yes, I am pretty sure. It's by a Chinese author though.

Him: Okay...... Do you know what is eunuch? *face was asking with sincerity and curiosity*

Me: *awkwardly* Yes.

Him: *very sincerely asking* So what is a eunuch?

I was stunned!

Me: *awkwardly again* Its a historic thingy. Chinese historic thingy.

Oh gosh!!

I know that this ang moh really dont know what it is. And i didnt know how to explain to him. I think probably because I wasnt anticipating to be asked this question before in my life. The question came too quickly and I didnt have time to think for the right answer. The first thing that came to my mind was the below part.  And, in Asian country, when you think of eunuch, you wouldnt think of them being servant first right?! We will naturally think of the below part first. So, i gave history. IT IS HISTORY also right??!!! If he go home and check the dictionary or google for it, what will his response be? And then, If he really check, he must be thinking why I want to read that kind of books. He must be thinking that I am dirty minded person or something. For those who know the type of books I like to read, they will understand. But for others, I am probably dirty minded to them.

Haha~~~~!!!! So funnae!!!!

Mr THT bought these donuts from Melbourne and sent it all the way to my house although he live pretty far from me. Heehee... Blame me for not willing to meet up somewhere because I had tonnes of assignments to clear for the next day.

Thank you ar~~~~ Mr THT

ANYWAY, look at the size of the dog!!! Its amazingly and awesomely BIG, LARGE, HUMONGOUS, GIGANTIC and.... and... I run out of words. Just see for youself below. The dog is only 2 years old by the way. I forget what is the breed called. But, wherever it goes, it is the centre of attraction because people just cant stop staring at the freindly creature. :)

I wore my boots to uni today because I know it is going to rain.

And then,

It rained.

And then,

The weather entered my boots from below.

And then,

My socks and feet were wet.

And then,

I realised that the bottom part of the boots is already spoilt.

Obstructions in things I want to do

  • Sep. 7th, 2009 at 4:54 PM

Summer holidays is in another 2 months time and I had and still have plans going on my mind. I am willing to spend my time in Perth or somewhere else to get something meaningful done. But it seemed that commitments back home is tying me down and I sort of not like the feeling.

First, I thought of doing Summer School. And next, i found out that the modules that I need to do is not offered in Summer School at all. SO, there it goes. No school for me.

Second, I thought of going to China for an internship as a volunteer student. The plan takes up 2 to 3 months but I think it should be a good experience and considering the fact that I quite like China. Yeah its weird I know. But I do like China.

Third, I saw this job offer to work from now as a part timer and a full timer in Nov, Dec and early Jan. I can definitely learn a lot from the job because it is related to Marketing! And the pay is really good. The main focus is the activity in Christmas.

BUT!! I have 2 counsins marrying at the end of Dec in two different countries. If I were to go for the second option (I was shortlisted for interview) or third option (if I was accepted), I dont even think they will let me work because I have to be away for at least 3 weeks and probably at the most crucial time of the work period. Its like, there are so many opportunities lying there for me but I cant seem to get it.

@#$()#@!@#&*(*&^%$#

I really dont want to spend an un-meaningful summer holiday so I am still looking for ways to sort things out. If worse come to worse, I think I will just go back to Singapore to find a part time job and work.

But in the mean time, I am still waiting for the summer modules available overseas so I see if I can work things out with my friend or something.

Anyway, I have stopped sending resumes to companies for jobs. I got rejected in a few applications but some companies are very weird because they get the position filled even though the date have not passed the closing date stated in the notice for the applications. And furthermore, it could be because I dont hold Australia PR. And I realised, its not easy to get admin part time jobs in Perth because there are so many people fighting for it. Oh well. Its nearing the end of the year and I doubt companies will hire anymore workers. I will start afresh next year. Beginning of next year, I will start applying for jobs. Maybe, I should apply for other kind of job next year. I dont want to just study in Perth. I want to start my way to fulfill my ambitions.......

Please let there be no more obstructions. Its so boring working in Singapore though I dont want to bump around and waste my time. Haha!

Did something that amazed myself

  • Jul. 28th, 2009 at 10:32 PM

So today, I had my first Public Relations tutorial class today. Went in and already started not to like the unit when the tutor was giving the introduction. But I still went for the lecture which is right after anyway. So, the lecturer rant and rant. In the middle of the middle of the lecture, I packed my bad and left the lecture hall. The next moment, I found myself right at the student administration withdrawing from my PR major and enrolling in Advertising Major. And so I had to plan my timetable all over again. 3 days of uni became 4 days. And what is worse is that I have only one lecture at the end of the day for wednesdays and thursdays. Once I know I can skip these lectures, I think I may.

Marketing Research is a unit that has very heavy project. I entered the first class on Monday and found out that have dodgy classmates and many of them are new to Curtin. So what did I do? I withdraw! and join the Friday class. At least I know a few people to the class I switched to. And they have been in Curtin for like 4 semesters. So its probably wiser to work with people who knows what Curtin expect.

Oh gosh. I am such a mafan and boliao person.

I hope I dont have to change anymore classes. It all depends on luck now anyway. Because this week is the last week we can change our units or whatsoever.

On the other hand, school has been pretty okay so far. Found my previous coursemate in one of my class and I had this friendly girl who takes me around and tell me things too. Hee. I am hoping things get better in the new Uni okay.

Back in Perth and I am going to do some troublesome admin stuff before school officially starts next Monday in Curtin for me (Shuduan~~~ Same school wor~~~~). And I am going to have to part with a few friends for a while before they join me up next semester. And I am hoping to see some handsome guys out there for me to eye-candy or something. There must be something that motivates me to go to school right. Counting down, I have 2 more years before I officially complete my uni life. It is like last year this time where I carry my uncertainties to Perth and now, I am back here for Year 2. Very fast, as what my sister says, I just have to snap my fingers and I would have completed my Year 2-and-the-half. And then I will be having fun in Singapore again while the summer holidays commence. Ooohh. School havent even start and I am thinking of my plans for end of year liao. Haha!! Cool heh. I got long term plan. It's good it's good.

And the week before I left, I met up with ShuduanLitingAmandaAmandaLizMarcus. Its so cool and fun catching up and updating each other about our lives. Amanda's mom makes good dinner and Amanda's dad makes a good storyteller about NS stuff with Marcus while the girls were just listening. We were just gossiping about our past JC lives and making speculation about the future after Uni.

Shuduan, when you come back hor, we need to do groceries leh. We need to share bread. Haha!! Back to our usual routine in Perth.

This is a conversation between my mummy and my maid.

Mummy: S, I am going to release you at the end of this month. I found another owner for you and you will get two days off each month.

Maid: Ok.

Mummy: You can come back to work part time with me during the two Sundays.

Maid: Ok.

SHOES ARE BEST FRIENDS!!!

I love them very very much.
When I am shopping, I cant resist trying on every pair that is on the shelf.
And I fall in love with them easily.
Not one, but MANY!!
I wish that I have a room of shoes.
Maybe I dont have time to wear them given one year, but I am happy to just look at them.
They hurt my feet sometime, but I still love them.
Flats, Pumps, Wedges, Boots, Sneakers and Sandals.
I love you all!!

I wish, when I work, I will have a room of shoes from all over the world.
I LOVE YOU! SA-RANG-HAE!

We got a suprise visitor!!

Tuesday morning when I woke up, I was shocked by Shuduan's message saying that Liz is in town. Out of sudden, someone is here. Haha!! Was more excited than shocked though. So we met just now for dinner before she have to go back tomorrow.

Cam-whoring while waiting for Liz who is late. You made us starve like mad okay!! Haha..

Bulgogi .... something.. Forget the name. Nice and big and filling..

But!! Liz was nice. She treated us dinner. :) Its nice catching up and bitching over some people that we used to bitch in JC days. Haha!! Make me think of those days again. I am glad that we havent changed much though.

On the train on the way home. Nice dinner.

When and who will be the next time??

Liz, come back and find us again okay. This time with Liting. Heehee...

I am not going in to the details because I dont think these people worth an entry in my post.

I just want to express my feelings.

Went to the city with Shuduan, and she brought me to eat duck rice in Northbridge. Gosh!! It taste like the ones Singapore!! I am so liking it and I want to go there like one more time, 2 more times or multiple more times again. Shud told me about the trip to Melbourne. I want to get to Melbourne. Who wants to go with me please?

And then I went shopping with her. I tell you, we need to be killed. Like, I think I am going to go meat-less for 2 weeks (which I think its very impossible) and I will earn those pennies in the future (soon!). Shuduan!! Going out with you is a sinful thing, but yet again, its an addictive hobby. We can spent so much on grocery too. What's wrong with the obsession over good food. Whatever. I am training to be a good housewife too. Who knows we will be the next master chef.

I went to Mandurah today. With Crystal and her church people. "Mandurah is ranked 96th in the world for being the most unaffordable place to live in" Any random house is 8 million, 12 million. I have that money probably in rupiah. But But But! I saw dolphins! Oh gosh, it was the best for the day (beside knowing more people). There's like 10 or 20 of them going after the cruise that we are on. I swear I want to swim with dolphins. Next summer, I am going to the place. I dont care. Argh!!! I tried really hard to get some good shots, but I always missed it. i took a video instead.

Heehee.

Okay.

So what happened in that The biggest loser grand finale was on just now. I have been after this show ever since I was back in Perth. And the winner is by far, the oldest man who have lost the most weight in the biggest loser history. He lost 80 over kilos which is more than half his original size. And some of them turned out really hot. And I wish that Nathan was not married so I may stand a chance. Haha! I wish.

Argh!!

Like I feel I was thw swayest person on earth last week. This week was good. Everything good is starting to revolve and I want it to maintain. I need to make my stay here more enjoyable than before.

Do you know what is a BAD GODDAMNIT WEEK?

  • Apr. 18th, 2009 at 7:09 PM

Oh let me you what it is.

1. STOLEN HANDPHONE
I was watching Shinjuku Incident with Bel when my handphone slipped out of my bag onto the floor. Without me realising it of course since I was tramaustised by the violence of the show. So after the show end, I was busy searching for my phone. Till everyone was gone, my handphone was gone too, my contacts are gone three, my pictures are gone four. One of the cleaners came and tell me "I saw a handphone on the floor around the area that you are (I am) seating. And then the guy beside you took it and walked really fast. I thought it was his." I thought kind soul will return it to the front counter or something. But my hp was OFF when Bel called. Pardon me but NAH BEH!! I wish your dick gets smaller. oh probably it is shrinking now.

2. SPOILT LAPTOP
It has to spoil just the day before I have to fly back to Perth. Battery gone, laptop fan stopped fanning. But I wont say I am damn damn swaye for this cause my mum's friend helped me to get it fixed through the express service on that day itself. They found out that the fan got stucked because there was dust particles in between. See!!! How BIG are the dust particles in Perth.

3. TURBULENCE
For how long have I not experince turbulence?? A long time. And it has to come today. Making the flight land ten minutes later than estimated time and making my stomach fly up and down.

4. INTERNET DOWN

The house Intenet is giving me problems again! I have been sitting in front of my laptop for hours trying to get it fixed.

!()#@#()$#@#()(*&^$#@!@(@!@()(&#@#(*&@!@()(#@#$()@!@

Okay!!! I have scolded enough. I think.

I was just talking to Bel the other night about things and we come to a conclusion to weather we should pity or look down on this person. I somehow look down mpre than take pity on this person. One should live for your own and not for others isnt it? Even if you want to help, do it sincerely and not just to satisfy the mass.

New Transformation

  • Apr. 5th, 2009 at 7:42 AM

I am in the process of making my room more homely since I am going to be here for a long time.

So, Shuduan and I went to Ikea yesterday. The moment we stepped in, Ms Ong said," Wah. Smell like singapore." Doesnt all wood smell the same? Haha. But we had fun there. She bought things, I bought things.

Lunch at Ikea restaurant

Ms Ong getting ready

Bummer Delia ready to tuck in

Our things

Looking at candles. Ms Ong wants the romantic feeling in her room. Woooooo.

Me, in the process of fixing up the drawer.

These are my housemates. Irene trying to help me and Atellah giving moral support by documenting the process. In other words, Atellah is just lazy. Haha!!!

1/3 done

2/3 done

Done!!!! TAH-DAH!!

Sparstic

Presenting to you, my lovely wardrobe now.

And yes, I am still in the process of making it more homely. I am heading down to Ikea again real soon. I have some things that need storage as well. In all, I am so proud of myself today. I ensembled a drawer!!! So that is one tick of the list of things I want to do in my life. Heehee....

So this is it. After working hard on chiong-ing assignments, it is finally a break. I swear i deserve this break!!

I switched school because I wanted more hands-on work. Now I see the difference. Though there's only few tests and exams, I have double, triple, million-le more assignments as compared to last year. And coursemates who were with me last year told me they are more relaxed this year. !*(&%$#)^%$^()(*&^. haha. But i am enjoying my school life every moment now. I dont know why but I am always looking forward to school this year for some reason. Maybe I am doing things I like now. I complained a lot about spending a lot of time in front of the computer doing non-entertainment activities like researching. But the sense of achievement you get is always wonderful. Results aside. Haha!!

Oh I was so proud that I participated in Earth Hour. I was being enthusiastic with my housemates of practicing it and we spent one good hour outside the house, trembling in the cold. But you know what I realised? Since Perth is not a busy or vibrant city, the area outside my house looks the same like any other day. It's dark everyday basically.

Anyway, its KFC day tomorrow. My KFC day.

Check out this video people.

http://video.msn.com/video.aspx?mkt=en-sg&vid=4817c5d7-ac94-4f82-bbc4-d67eda29d714

I clicked that Internet explorer button and saw what was at my MSN homepage.

"Weird but true; Japan's 74 year old pornstar."

Can you imagine that? Engine is still on at that old age. He had starred in 300++ porn movies by the way. Hats off!! I know its disgusting to think that an old man is doing sex in front of the camera. It is morally un-right to have porn, and its worse to have an old man doing it. But really, I think many men would envy that. He still can enjoy that sensation feeling even at 74. How many men can last till that age? Their engine is probably dead much earlier and many of them would probably start buying herbs and consulting doctors. But come to think of it. Sex at that age? I think I would have probably retire from that activity when I reach that age.

But believe it or not, according to X-rated store in Japan, eldery sex movies contributes 20 to 30 percent of their sales! Okay, that is degrading. I dont see why ageing population must be accompanied with increasing sales of eldery sex movies. I cant imagine the old ones watching the old ones doing it on screen and get turned on or feel helpless at the same time. I cant imagine the young ones watching and enjoying it too. They are as old as your grandma or grandpa bloody hell. I feel so URGH!!!

Speaking of which, the 74 year old man didnt let his wife and children know that he is a porn star. YOU SEE???!!! HE HAVE A WIFE!!! He is having affairs outrightly on screen. Oh my god. What if one day his children watch porn and found out that his dad is actually a porn king is that industry? Shocked? Suprised? Angry? Stunned? Speechless? EEEEEEKKKKKKKKK!!!!

Whatever the case is, good or bad about this issue, it is something new to me. Just suprised. I just didnt expect that Japan pornography go to that extent. They do have the social, ethics and moral issues to consider right.

Urm.

I am speechless now.
